Our Gift Shop, Campus Convenience Store, and Specialty Cancer/Home
Medical Equipment Stores use the WinRetail/TradeWinds programs from a
vendor called JDS Solutions (www.winretail.com
<http://www.winretail.com/> ). The actual registers are PC based with
peripherals. The back-office database is comprehensive with customer,
inventory, and vendor modules. There are robust reporting options. We
upload employee charges into API/Meditech for payroll processing. The
only downside with the system is that it is expensive.
