Martha:
We do not use the depart forms to document a cds, but you can. See
attached EDM.PAT report for example (Magic 5.5 SR2)
I did this form/cds to test the process of documenting the cds when you
add the form from the form button on the desktop.
When you add the form from the desktop, you can then click on that form
and chose to document it, then the Departure CDS appears, fill it out.
Then if you want to print this form as a stand alone form, click on the
form and then click on the Print button.
I would print the form with the packet, but I am not sure of your intent
here, so do what you feel is best for your facility.
If you want to print as part of the discharge/depart packet, you set
this up in the EDM Form dict, stand alone=N.

Does anyone have an EDM departure form that uses a cds screen? For
example, we have a work release cds that I would like to attach to a
departure form that is documented and printed using the departure form
routine, but I can't find anyone that has a report that I can attach the
cds screen to that will work in the EDM forms dictionary. I don't want
to use the cds as an assessment. I want to be able to document it as a
stand alone departure form and print it from the departure form routine.
Anyone with such a report that would be willing to share would be
greatly appreciated!
