"Charge Explosion" is something that is routinely used by lab, rad, etc. A billing # assigned to a PHA mnemonic crosses to BAR, then that actually keys two procedures in BAR to charge - in reality, the billing # on the PHA side is a dummy. Ask your BAR folks, they should know all about Charge Explosions...
The downside is that the dollar amount will be fixed on the BAR side which is not routine for most PHA Drug Dictionaries (most sites have the PHA charges come from PHA to BAR) - you need to remember to update those items in the BAR Procedure Dictionary as needed.
