Clinical Systems Analyst in Information Technology Manages a variety of tasks based on interrelationships of clinical and administrative applications to hospital applications to ensure efficient operation of all systems. Works with Clinical Information System Coordinator and designated hospital staff members to devise system acquisition and implementation plans. Ensures optimal integration, productivity, and performance of all clinical information systems. Provides clinical information systems training to hospital staff members. Requires a RN degree. Ability to demonstrate the analytical design, programming, implementation and communication skills necessary to work with clinical and support staff to research, implement and maintain clinical information systems and interfaces. Must possess strong communication , interpersonal, time management and organizational skills. Must be able to maintain high levels of confidentiality, use tact and diplomacy in interacting with all customers. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job specific standard satisfactorily. Prefer at least five years in a clinical field as a practicing registered nurse (RN) with two years computer use/knowledge.
