We are evaluating iSCI equipment from Left Hand Networks for data archival purposes and possibly some disaster recovery. As I mentioned we are in an eval process and I wanted to find out if anyone is using this type of config with their Meditech servers. Currently Meditech and our Pacs reside on the same SAN and we are to the point of adding space to it so we are looking at other vendors/equipment. The SAN and Meditech servers were purchased through JJWild. We use Valco for Meditech archiving and I am sure we can put the iscsi initiator software on the Valco servers but I am not sure how it will run on the magic servers with the limited protocols they run. If anyone has came across this or is will to share a brief description of their setup I would greatly appreciate it.
