Lourdes Hospital currently has the following career position for a qualified Professional as our Financial Systems Analyst. -------------------- SUMMARY: Responsible for assuring the overall maintenance and/or new implementations of the hospital's Health Care Information System (HCIS) financial and administrative modules/applications including, billing and accounts receivable, general ledger, accounts payable, payroll/personnel, executive support system, cost accounting and materials management through collaboration with other team members. Also, the Financial Systems Analyst will work with all aspects of Information Systems. EDUCATION, TRAINING AND CREDENTIALS:
REQUIRED: Associate's degree in computer science or equivalent experience. Closely related business discipline and two year's related work experience in direct support of a hospital's patient accounting and related "revenue cycle" functions. PREFERRED: Two years related work experience in a healthcare setting. Previous experience with the Meditech financial modules and NPR report writing. OTHER: Good communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills. Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Windows desktop O/S and Office applications. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to work independently of direct supervision.
