We scan our advanced directives and have them on-line in PCI in Medical Records
Forms and as a table of contents item.
PCI menus can then be set up as required by job requirements. We have processes
to swap out old ones for new ones etc.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] Advanced Directives

HI-

Our ethics committee was inquiring what other hospitals are doing to organize
and sort advanced directives so they are easily available to all healthcare
personnel yet protected from anyone viewing them who should not have access. We
would appreciate any suggestions or information about software programs that
could help us organize this information and yet give rapid access when it is
needed.

Thanks for all the great suggestions.
