Hi Warren,
 
The following should work:
 
Create a user-defined field on your report with the following field attributes:
 
DAT=DATE10
LEN=10
[EMAIL PROTECTED]"PAYROLL"]

You will need to replace "PAYROLL" with the mnemonic of your Payroll.
 
Please let me know if that doesn't work out.
