Tom,
We just purchased a Nikon camera controller system that will allow
images to be stored on the network. We are in progress of implementing
but it appears straight forward. The vendor even created a macro to
place the image directly onto a powerpoint slide.

Let me know if you'd like more information on this product.

Our Pathologists are getting more and more requests to participate in
conferences where they need to present microscopic and gross images,
usually in a power point presentation. This is consuming way too much of
their time that would be better spent reading slides. I know that
MEDITECH has a way to capture images to a server but I would be
interested in hearing if there are sites out there using other products.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
