I need help with a rule to suppress a charge.

We have serum electrophoresis as a profile, and it charges off two t-tests,
the serum protein and a charge-only for the electrophoresis itself. Used to
use charge explosion, but they don't credit properly.

Often a CMP is ordered at the same time or for the same day, and of course it
includes a protein, the same protein t-test as in the electrophoresis.

When electro and CMP are ordered together, I would like to either send no bill
code for the serum protein, or at least send a bill code that is $0.00.

I have the same issue with serum IFE and urine IFE.

I have rules that work like this when they are attached to the directly ordered
test (page 1), and I have rules that work when I use charge explosion (page 1),
but can't get a rule to work for charges created at the subtest level of a
profile.

would appreciate any rule help or advice on restructuring electros to avoid
duplicate charging.

Thanks, Judy Hill
