Alberta RSHIP has laso gone down that path. We are using NOC for
Outcomes but did have to be quite creative to make it work. I would be
will ing to chat with you about how we accomplished this.
As for NIC.... We have had a more difficult time integrating it so have
gone with MT standard content and of course added our own. We would like
to use NIC but it was even more difficult to plug into the system.

Subject: Nursing assessments, care plans using NIC/NOC

Hi there,

Our core team has recently learned that our facility may be adopting
NIC/NOC methodology. We're unfamiliar with these, and having some
questions about the integration of NIC/NOC into electronic nursing
assessments (and more importantly, how well NIC/NOC methodology
interfaces with Meditech's process plans).

If anyone out there might be willing to share some thoughts, screen
shots, or Advil with us, we'd be most grateful.

Happy Friday, y'all.
