Hi all,

We are a C/S site at the 5.5 SR 2 - soon to be SR4. I have a question
for those of you that have your providers use the Physician Doc tool.

We were hoping to have our final ITS reports be a combination of queries
and other data entered in the Physician Doc tool and the doctor
dictation. For example, we would have a template that had Vital Signs
queries, lab results, etc. When this template was "filed" as "pending"
we had hoped that the transcription staff would be able to bring up that
unfinished report in ITS and type in the dictated data using Word in
ITS. Our doctors are fine with having the queries, results, etc flow to
their note, but they do not want to type in the subjective, assessment
and entire plan information. They would like to continue to dictate
that part. Our transcription staff does not want to type in the little
text box in the Physician doc tool. We are told that if you use the
Physician Doc Tool that is where all the info has to be entered - it can
not be a combination of that an ITS Word.

Does any one out that have a process for this combination or a
resolution to providers that want to keep dictating a "portion" of their
note?

Thanks for any information,
