Hello,

We are interested on hearing if/ how other sites are using POM print outs.
We are Magic 5.5 SR2

1. Do you use them and if so - are they part of the medical record?

2. Do you use the reprint function - if so , how are you handling the
issues regarding not being able to reprint DC'd orders and the display of
edited orders not appearing correctly?

3. If you have configured the system to NOT print POM orders - where do
you note order follow through that is noted by Unit Clerks (I.E.
(Respiratory notified etc..)

4. If you have configured the system to NOT print POM orders - how you do
handle unplanned downtime - (How do you know what has been ordered for the
patient?)

We are considering stopping order printing but are concerned about
downtime and communicating order follow through and want to make sure we
have solid processes in place before doing so. We appreciate any input
you may have!

Thanks,
Sue
