I personally use a scripting tool mostly for dictionary edits (both Magic and CS) - I "download" to an Excel spreadsheet, do the edits there (especially helpful for mass edits to a single field), and then "script" the fields back.to the original ring or used to sync TEST and LIVE. As a consultant and Pharmacist, this has saved me and the sites I work with hundreds of man-hours. Since CS has no report scheduling functionality, scripting is an excellent tool to manage this as well - anywhere from downtime reports to departmental/managerial daily reporting needs.
