Jerri,

We have RXM in both our ED and Physician Offices using MPM. In both
areas we use our regular laser printers and load it with security
watermarked paper. It has worked out well for us.

Anything that can keep you away from a Genicom printer is worth it!!

Subject: RXM Prescription Printer in EDM

We are trying to figure out what type of printer to setup in the ED for
prescription writing as well as the stock to put in it. The following
are what our Meditech specialist said is being used out there. What are
successfully sites using?

Datamax I Class DMX I-4208s
Documax Datasouth
A3300 Series (Tractor Fed)
Epson FX 870 Model P710A
Epson LQ 1170 Model P641A
Genicom 3280
Genicom 3840EP
Lexmark 2380
Lexmark 2380
Okidata Microline 320
Okidata Microline 390
Okidata Microline 520
Okidata Microline 590
Okidata 591

We'd love to hear from anyone that is live with prescription
writing/printing through RXM/EDM. What hardware are you using? How's
the process working out? We have been live with the tracker and nursing
documentation since the end of January 07. Now we are moving along with
RXM/AOM/POM in the ED.

Thank You,
Jerri Arthur, MS
