Hi Karen,
Rather than trying to do all that in the attribute itself, consider writing a
macro in the module in which you'll be accessing the CDS. If this CDS were for
ADM say, I'd do it as a default like this:
DFT=%ADM.PAT.zcus.cds.attribute.macros.M.minutes.elaspsed(ANS)
Once in the macro you'll have unlimited room to code as needed. You could even
consider passing in the from and through dates and times as arguments B through
E, so that your new macro could be used for future applications.
Hope this helps,

We are trying to set up our elapsed time query in NUR to charge for hours of
oxygen.
The following is the attribute we are using on the query NUR.TOT
IFE=IF{%Z.elapsed.time([ANS,"NUR.EENDDT"]|0,
IFE=[ANS,"NUR.EEND"]|0,
IFE=[ANS,"NUR.EBEGDT"]|0,
IFE=[ANS,"NUR.EBEGIN"]|0,"hhmm")^/VAR
IFE=/VAR^/[ANS%0,"NUR.TOT"]|0,P(R,S,/VAR)^#,""}
I want to display the answer in minutes only, but no matter what time format I
use, I cannot get it to work. I've looked extensively through the meditech-l
archives but still cannot get it to work correctly. The best I can get is for
2 hour and 15 minutes to display 215 using the hhmm format above. How do I
convert this to minutes only? IN AN ATTRIBUTE on a CDS?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
