We are a Magic 5.4 site.
Question is for sites that have Pharmacy dispensing machines that are used
by your RT staff.
What does the RT staff do when they receive a stat order that Pharmacy has
not placed in the system yet? In other words, the doctor is right beside
the RT tech and the doctor says to give the patient so and so med. How does
the RT staff get this medicine out of the dispensing machine? Do they have
override access to the machine, does a nurse supervisor with override access
have to pull it out or what? Thanks.
