We stopped using ELF chips years ago and switched to Iatric's forms online. We created the forms in a forms software package, uploaded it to Meditech (Iatrics folder) and it now downloads the forms as an overlay to the registration/armband/billing/etc forms. No more reprogramming ELF costs for us. This leaves us totally flexible when we need to change a form. A nice side benefit is the ability to store non patient use forms in Meditech (ex. Travel expense form) and the staff members selects them from a menu and prints them out on the nearest laser.
