Hi All,

I'm going to try posting this again, as I haven't seen my first. I was
wondering how other sites are handling dictionary maintenance in LIVE.
Do you have IS staff only maintaining dictionaries, a combination of IS
staff and users, or users only? Obviously some dictionaries have more
cross-departmental impact and possible patient care/safety ramifications
when they are changed. Is this a primary determining factor in the
designation of maintenance responsibility? Do you have documented what
individual(s)/department(s) are responsible within your organization for
the maintenance of dictionaries in the various modules? Do you have a
documented process for communicating dictionary changes to the necessary
areas? I would appreciate any information you would be willing to share
(i.e. outline of dictionary maintenance responsibilities by module,
communication process for dictionary changes, etc.

Thanks in advance,

Kathy
