Yes, we currently have a dashboard that updates every morning, noon and evening. The dashboard provides items from patient census to revenue cycle information. We created several NPR reports that import into Excel; we accomplish this by our scripting tool. If you do not have the resources to create NPR reports within your facility, I would suggest researching a vendor that provides this type of service. Our Administration and other various leaders have expressed concern on obtaining timely data from our Meditech system. They would like to have a daily dashboard or screen shot of pertinent data. This screen would include data such as, # of Admits, # of Discharges, Current Occupancy, Payer mix, Volumes, and other various data to aide in the daily operations of our facilities.
