Thanks to everyone who responded. I didn't realize there were so many ways to call the same field. Everyone was very helpful and I appreciate it. Charles, what our issue was that physicians were choosing potassium chloride premix solutions and adding in the additive as well. We were afraid of our pharmacists not catching this when verifying the order. So, if any of these premixes exist in the carrier field, and there are any additives, prevent the order from filing/verifying. Thanks again to everyone I did get this working!!

On page one of the drug dictionary you can select carrier, additive, or both. For these problematic IV's, just select carrier. If you still need a rule, I believe that you are correct in that you need to create a custom keyword.
