BUSINESS ANALYST I AND CLINICAL ANALYST I POSITIONS OPEN: Halifax Community Health Systems is currently accepting applications for a Clinical Analyst I and a Business Analyst I. The Clinical Analyst I position will be responsible for providing entry-level assistance to users of healthcare information systems under the direction of the Sr. Clinical Analyst. Responsibilities will include participating in the overall planning, development, and implementation of health care informatics programs, products, and services, particularly to address the clinical needs of patients and to support MT OE, ITS, MIS, UNV. This position requires a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing or Allied Health Services: AA/AS required, 1-3 years of experience with a healthcare information system or equivalent combination of education and/or experience, intermediate computer skills, excellent customer service skills, application support and basic research and analysis skills. The Business Analyst I position will provide consultation and assistance to users of healthcare business systems under the direction of the Sr. Business Analyst. Responsibilities include analyzing user requirements, planning and designing user system interfaces, testing applications, training users, writing user documentation, resolving user problems, defining functional specifications for software design and modifications, creating and updating documentation for end users, developing and implementing installation plans and teaching user training sessions.
