You are correct, that what you purchased back in April 2004 only allows you to fax out of MEDITECH. That is because you purchased our NetFax EM series which includes the appliance so you did not need to buy a separate server. I must also tell you that Interbit Data does have a faxing solution for non-Meditech applications. Interbit Data has a full line of products that will allow you to fax from any windows application as well as the Meditech system. Our Desk top fax option can both send and receive faxes and route them to a department or folder for distribution. Like with all our products, if you would like to upgrade we will give you 100% credit for NetFax towards our NetFax with Desk top fax or our NetDelivery with Desk Top Faxing. We have been using it for about 2 1/2 years and have had very few issues with it. I would caution you on one issue regarding future planning. The Interbit system only faxes from MEDITECH, or at least ours does, and if you are interested in a fax server that can work with systems outside of MEDITECH, I would suggest the Forward Advantage, which I installed about four years ago at another facility with CS.
