Subject: [MEDITECH-L] PCI physician access question

I'm posing this question for a colleague.

Small hospital. Two main groups of physicians, with each physician in a
group having access to all patients admitted by anyone else in that
group. PCI access setup was pretty simple.

Along comes the new group of hospitalists covering for all the docs in
both groups with the exception of two physicians in one group who have
opted out of the arrangement. Hospitalists need access to all patients
EXCEPT those admitted by the two.

How have you handled routine PCI access issues like this, without
resorting to a separate access for each physician?

If you would take a moment to comment, please reply to

Thank you, Sharon
