We set fuji as a trusted site in the I.E. security settings. The trusted
site can be set to
Not prompt for username and password, and that shouldn't change your
other sites.

Subject: Re: [MEDITECH-L] PACS and PCI integration

Hi,
Glad to know others have seen the same issue. We are hoping Fuji can
correct it. Thanks for all of the responses. I just wanted to clarify
our situation a little.

In addition to loading the Fuji Synapse workstation software you have to
set the I.E. security options to "prompt for username and password". If
you don't change the security option you don't even get the prompt to
download Synapse. You just get the I.E. error screen with the username
and password exposed. We can't change the security setting on most
workstations because the users won't be able to use the hospital
intranet if we do.

So basically we have several hundred workstations around the hospital.
All have Meditech installed so anyone can try to access images in PCI
and make the URL call to Synapse. Most workstations can't be setup to
load Synapse and we really don't want to have to touch all of the PCs
anyway.
So most of the PCs would be open to exposing the username/password in
the Fuji URL call.
