Renee... Are you using the possessive field @txn.procedure's.chg.cat?
That's where you need to start. If your select criteria are
long-winded, you'll need to put them into a macro and select from there:
Computed variable "xx.select" with
VAL=%BAR.PAT.zcus.name.of.report.M.select(@account,@txn.class,@txn.urn)
Place it on page 2 with xx.select EQ 1
Macro ("select") similar to following:
A^account,
B^txn.class,
C^txn.urn,
@txn.procedure's.chg.cat^CAT,
IF{CAT="ABC"!(CAT="DEF")!(CAT="GHI") 1^SEL;
CAT="JKL"!(CAT="MNO")!(CAT="PQR") 1^SEL},
SEL;

I have a great report from another facility that lists accounts that
contain specific procedures. It selects on the b/ar batch date, fincl,
pt type and procedure. I'd like to further select only accounts that
contain certain chg categories. I've been unsuccessful in modifying the
select to include field chg.cat. Can anybody give me some direction how
to modify the report? The detail segment is bar.acct.transactions using
the bar.acct.adm.ser.date.index.
