CLINICAL ANALYST POSITIONS OPEN Halifax Community Health Systems is currently accepting applications for several Clinical Analyst positions in support of MEDITECH Advanced Clinical Applications. The positions will be responsible for participating in the overall planning, development, and implementation of health care informatics program, products, and services, particularly to address the clinical needs of our patients. As Clinical Analyst, the position will provide leadership to analyze specific clinical area assignments, the clinical work-flow as to the patient's plan of care, policies and procedures provide customer and team support through cross-disciplinary task groups. By working with peer Functional Team Leaders of the organization and Information Technology personnel, the positions will identify opportunities for process improvement; participate in resulting solutions, as required. The position requires a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing or Allied Health Services, B/A/BS or BSN required. Master's preferred. Nursing Informatics Certification and/or CPHIMS preferred; 3 years experience in support for MEDITECH (C/S preferred) clinical applications (PCS, PCM, OE, ITS, EMR, NPR), and/or equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
