Likely the cause is you're wireless LAN is on the 2.4 GHz band.
Microwave ovens operate at 2.45 GHz and can cause interference with your
wireless network.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] MICROWAVES with wirelss

Has anyone had issues arise from your wireless when microwaves are in
use.

I have one site that has all of their meals heated on the units and they
get kicked out of the mar when this is happening. Any help would be
appreciated.
