We are a Magic 5.4 site using Omnicell dispensing cabinets. I'm in IT so
excuse me if the clinical side of things don't add up correctly:-)

Let's say a patient comes in on the 24th for pre-op teaching for an
outpatient procedure that is scheduled for the 26th. During this visit,
they get their fleet enema which has been pulled from the Omnicell cabinet.
That medicine crosses over with a service date of the 24th, even though the
account is registered for a 26th date of service. Our billing department is
thinking this may cause problems. Has anyone else encountered this and did
it cause any problems? Thanks.
