We upsized our licensed beds from 198 to 404 about a year ago, but have not been allotted any additional FTEs, of course...

Here is our staffing:

1 - Director IS and Telecom
1 - Clinical Systems Analyst
1 - Financial Systems Analyst
1 - Security Systems Analyst
1 - Programmer
1 - Network Administrator
2 - Technician
1 - Telecom Systems Analyst
1 - Physician Support Specialist ( we have a large physician practice system )

10 staff is NOT enough to provide the level of support needed.  We are consistently behind on projects and have more to do than we can get done.  "Initiative Overload" is rampant here.  I'm sure many other shops are in the same situation.

Hope that helps,

Mike
