Barry,
I would love to know your settings. Are you using PCL5 or PCL6 print
drivers?

We thought we had the HP4250 working fine as well until I read on the -L
about loosing characters on the far right. Field 4, Field 41 amount,
field 65 etc. I had the user load data in to these fields (field 4 - 4
character code, field 41 - amount of 175.65, and an employer name with
25 characters including spaces). I had the following forms settings:

CPI - 10.05
> Left Margin - 0.20
> LPI - 5.98
> Top Margin - 0.098
>
> Printer Configuration:
> X1 Shift -10
> X2 Shift 0
> Y Shift 0

While these settings got the last two characters per line to print, as
you move across a line of data to the right data does not line up
properly in their boxes even though it starts out great in each line.

We have been able to get this to print properly on a Kyocera printer
with the following settings:

CPI 10
Left Margin 0.25 inches
LPI 5.98
Top Margin 0.098 inches

Someone else had to make changes to the "printable area/box". If you
would like this information, please let me know. But these settings
don't work for the HP4250.

The HP4250 has been tested and will work fine. I believe the HP4300
will work as well but we have not yet tested it. I'm at home now and
don't have the exact settings, but can send them to you tomorrow if
you'd like.

Does anyone know of the HP printer needed to print edge to edge for
paper UB04's? I was told HP5250 but can not find that on HP? TIA...Jean
