Hello,
We are looking for a solution for OP orders coming from physician offices to
our Patient Registration desk. Currently, when an order comes from a
physicians office for Labs, Radiology, CP, etc., the paper requisition gets
filed alphabetically in an accordion file. When a patient comes in for
testing, the accordion file is supposed to be checked for any/all orders for
that specific patient. Sometimes, not all orders are pulled, sometimes they
are specifically for a date in the future, sometimes the order never made it to
the file and sometimes the order is misfiled. Does anyone have
ideas/solutions/procedures in place that address this problem? We would
appreciate any input!

thanks!! deb
