I know that we are not the only facility experiencing certain issues and this
is one of them. I am wondering how other facilities, both C/S and Magic, are
dealing with variations between Inpatient and Outpatient Revenue Totals in
BAR and GL. BAR passes the revenue to GL and that is how it is, but if there
is a correction in BAR for some reason, there is no automatic correction to
the GL. We also experience this issue in regards to changes in Financial
Class, but it all stems from the same issue, BAR not passing any corrective
batches when changes are made.
Please give me some suggestions for what I can direct our Finance Department
to do in order to reconcile. Thanks.
