Susan,

I am currently working on interfaces EndoWorks with Magic
5.61. I have EndoWorks sending the OE results to an interface engine.
At that time, I process the message and store the medical record number,
visit number, and location of the file (which contains the results and
images) into a MySQL database. I have a intranet page, that accepts the
medical record number and visit number as parameters. When the web page
is called, and passed the proper parameters, it gives a link to any
files that are available for that visit. The user can click on the link
and have it open the file. The way I have it integrated into magic, is
through PCI. I have a magic program that can be launched from the PCI
menu to open Internet Explorer to the web page that I created. When the
web page is launched, it passes the necessary parameters based on the
patient that is being viewed in PCI.

I have this solution tested and working. I have to discuss
it with the necessary parties (Endoscopy and Medical Records), just to
make sure that the reports contain all of the information that they
need. After that, I will be turning it live. I choose this route,
because it allows the user to view the images in color of the Endoscopy,
so you are not loosing that part of EndoWorks when you place the report
into Magic. If you would like to discuss this more, just let me know
and I would be happy to assist you.

Thank you,

Shane

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] Magic Integration with Olympus EndoWorks

Hi

I have been asked to see if any one has interfaced Olympus EndoWorks
with Magic?

Do you have a Reports Interface back to Meditech?

Do you have any other results from Endo works in Magic?
