Melissa, We use an order set for Medrol Dosepak, using 6 separate orders for
the 4 mg tabs.
I don't think it works well, because it is usually ordered
during the middle of the day,
and the patient is usually discharged before completing the
course of treatment.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] PHA Medrol Dose Pak Order Entry
Does any site have an order set or another method to enter a Medrol Dose Pak
order for an inpatient. Our pharmacy only stocks the 4 mg tablets and
currently sends everything up using label comments for directions. We will be
going Live with eMAR soon and the correct times need to appear for the nurses.
Any suggestions?
