Hi, We are wondering how other health care facilities handle ER accounts in
situations where the patient is called back in to be seen again ( For example,
after reviewing x rays more, a fracture is seen that had not been detected when
the patient was in the ER. The hospital then calls the patient and asks that
they return) Do you utilize the previous ER account or do you create a new
account for this patient? If you create a new account, how do you charge for
supplies and meds and not the ER visit itself a second time? Any insight is
greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
