Hi Joyce, we just went Live with bar-coded wristbands, using a bar-code
for patient account number, which we will soon begin scanning with
Glucometer testing, our first scanning application. I'm also curious to
know what others are using.

Thanks,

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] Magic 5.5, barcodes on patient armbands

Wondering what other facilities are using for the main barcode number on
the patient wristbands for scanning by numerous hospital
departments-patient account number or medical record number? Thanks for
the information, Joyce.
