Tammy:

Why does their MIS Location/Access need to be edited?

As long as the devices on each location are entered into the MIS
Location dictionary correctly, the user can document on any patient at
that location.

The MIS User prompt for restrict by location is device dependent...

Now if your using the status board, their primary location may not be
correct and that could cause some issues.

We don't use agency nurses, but we give our nurses access to all
locations except behavioral health since they tend to float to other
departments. You could build a separate status board for agency nurses
and default their status board to my list instead of my location to make
it simpler for them and you.

        Hi,

I have nurses that are contract nurses or PRN. Today they may
start out working on MED SURG in a few hours they may be moved to ICU.

MIS has to change nurse access. Is there a way to make this a
little simpler or them and me to.

        Thanks
