I have two issues I hope someone has figured out:

1. With BMV/EMAR, I need a QUICK and EASY way to display a lab value to
nurses without going through the scan or document routine or looking in
PCI. I was thinking about attaching a Lab TEST VIEW group to a pha admin
crit CDS. The main reason for this is to allow nurses to obtain lab
values prior to documenting (insulin for sliding scale, etc.) Does
anyone know how to do this or is there an easier way?

2. To autopopulate a PHA NUR MAR CDS query with the lastest lab result.
We would probably have two fields; one where the full information of
date/time is displayed and another where the value is recorded. If the
value is not current or acceptable, give the nurse a way to edit the
field if necessary. For example, INR or Glucose.

Any help would be appreciated.

TIA

Ed
