You need to use an IFE attribute to do this. Here is a simple attribute to default a response and not allow the user to change it: IFE=P(R,S,"RESPONSE"^/[ANS%0,"QUERY"]|0)^#,""
Replace RESPONSE with the response that you want to default and QUERY with the query you want the response to default into. Check out a couple of good websites for attributes.
