I believe the timeout for the Suspend Session is tied to the default menu
timeout set in the MIS parameters. Some of our individual menus have timeouts
longer than the default so if a user was on one of these menus and they
suspended their session, the session would be closed when the default timeout
was reached even though that particular menu's timeout had not been reached yet.

Meditech recently provided us with a free custom that hardcoded the Suspend
Session to 24 hours. When a session is suspended, the menus will still timeout
according to their timeout setting. If another user wants to use a device that
has a suspended session, they can X-out of the suspend session window which
closes the Meditech session.

Hope this helps.

Hi L'ers,

We are a 5.5 SR3 site looking at the suspend session. Management is asking how
other sites set their timeout settings for Suspend Session and also their PCI
menu timeout settings. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Kim
