Job Description

*       Required to work in a team environment and reports to the
Manager, Project Management Office.
*       In depth knowledge of health care user environment and Meditech
Health Care applications (Client Server version) is essential.
*       Post-secondary training in Information Systems and Project
Management Methodology is required.  PMP designation would be
beneficial.
*       Three to five years direct work experience in a project
management capacity is essential.
*       Education and experience with Microsoft Project, and the
Microsoft Office Suite of applications is essential.
*       Participate in project planning and execution process.
*       Effectively communicate and liaise with project implementation
teams.
*       Delegate project tasks and integrate tasks with other team
members.
*       Monitor project timelines and track project milestones and
deliverables.
*       Ability to function as Conversion team lead/coordinator for CHR
implementation teams.
*       Ability to develop and execute conversion plans.
*       Complete Issues documentation and assist in Issues resolution.
*       Follow and practice department guidelines and policies and
procedures.
*       Highly motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, detail
oriented, and high-pressured environment.
*       Professionally accountable for work and activities.
*       Proven strong analytical skills, effective communication skills,
user and staff interface skills are required.
*       Work environment may necessitate fluctuating work hours on
evenings or weekends and travel throughout the Chinook Health Region.
*       Must possess a valid driver's license.
*       Position requires access to the Information Systems of the
Chinook Health Region and as such security of data must be ensured at
all times and strict confidentiality guidelines followed
