Hi Greg,
Multiple line queries are a bear to deal with! The major difference is
that the temporary and the filed responses are stored differently! You
are sending the value to the temporary response variable as
/[ANS%0,"QUERY"]|0..... but this is for a single-line query. For a
multiple query, it needs to be /[ANS%0,"QUERY"]M[X]|0 where X
represents the line number. So if you only wanted this on the first
line you would send it to
/[ANS%0,"QUERY"]M[1]|0

I am using the following attribute to default a normal response to a
field if the WNL query is answered with a "Y" response. It is working
well and even clearing the old abnormal response and entering the new
normal response appropriately if there is already an answer in the
field. My problem is that it is populating the correct information on
multiple queries but when I file the screen the old information is in
the field. What do I need to change to get this to work on a multiple
query?
