FYI: PCI Query Groups AND RAD Statistics are both being affected by the way
their internal date format is set up. No RAD statistics are available for
07/18/07.

A task was opened in PCI by Meditech for our site today regarding this
issue, which states the following:

This task is being opened in order to address an issue where data displaying
via
the Group datasources was not displaying in Reverse-Chronological Order
correctly. All data is present, however, as of 7/18/07 the data was not
sorting
properly on the History screen of the Groups datasources (Mixed, LAB, BBK
and
Query). PCI DTS 6343 is being delivered to address this issue.

PCI stores data using an internal date format. Up until 7/18/07, that
internal
format was 4 digits for the day and 4 digits for the hour (nnnn.nnnn). On
7/18/07 the day number exceeded 4 digits. This has caused a problem on the
history screens for BBK groups, LAB groups, QRY groups and Mixed groups when
the
site's display option is to see the data reverse chronologically. The data
is
sorting correctly by day, but the data within a day is no longer appearing
reverse chronologically.

Once this modification has been added in-house and tested we will be
contacting
you for change control approval.

Thank you!

BBK/LAB/QRY/Mixed Group - problem displaying/printing reverse-chrono dates

The following is the RAD task our specialist opened this morning after I
left him a voicemail:

Valente,Jason (MEDITECH) - Jul 19, 2007 - 1212 EDT: This task is being
opened
to track the issue reported by Jay via a voice message. In the voice
message,
Jay is reporting that Transcription Statistics routine is returning the
Nothing to Print message for 7/18/07.

Hi Jay, this issue is stemming from yesterday as being the 10,000 day in
Meditech time and it is occurring for all the other hospitals as well. This
is
very high priority for us and the programming staff is currently
investigating
this issue. This is affecting all of the statistical routines when running
them
for 7/18/2007. Also, as far as I know or have been told, this issue is just
happening in $T Radiology and it is not affecting any other modules. I will
inform the hospital as soon as a fix is available. Thanks, Jay

When I saw this message I forwarded it to the right person here to take a
look at. This is her response: I just reviewed our query groups in PCI and
they are working appropriately. This is a parameter setting in PCI, could
it be that someone changed something at these hospitals without sharing?

Did Meditech provide you with a resolution to this problem? Are they aware
of what caused the change?

FYI..

We just discovered that our Query Groups for today 7/18/07 started sorting
in chronological order and everything from 7/17/07 and prior is in reverse
chronological order. Meditech told us that multiple hospitals are
experiencing this issue.
