We have a problem with Blue Choice accounts that were Inpatient and now are
classified as Observation by the PAYOR. Our organization chooses not to change
the account type from an Inpatient to an Observation. We have to produce an
outpatient claim with a different provider number than Inpatient. We would
like to be able to use edit a claim to change the bill type and other claim
information but we can't edit the provider number. We are curious how other
hospitals are managing these.

Thanks
