CLINICAL PROJECT LEADER position available in Baltimore/Washington, DC area
Doctors Community Hospital (DCH) is seeking candidates to fill a full time position as a Clinical Project Leader in the Information Technology Department, preferably with previous Meditech experience. Areas of responsibility will include Order Entry/ Departmental, Clinical Documentation, Patient Care Inquiry, Radiology, OR+, Visual Flowsheet, and Medication Reconciliation. Exciting new projects await you as our near and long term projects include eMAR and Bedside Medication Verification implementations. Qualifications: Licensed RN with a minimum of a two-year degree, preferably in Computer Science or Nursing Informatics. Three years of clinical experience and two years in the development and implementation of Information Systems is required. One or more years of related project oriented task experience is desirable. Two years of related hospital or healthcare experience, especially clinical coordination is required. Experience with PCs and Microsoft office products are highly desirable. Membership and active participation in professional organizations is desirable. DCH is a licensed 162 bed community hospital located in Lanham, MD - in suburban Baltimore/Washington DC area.
