I would be happy to send anyone who is interested our information regarding
printing prescriptions in the ED.

We are not LIVE yet, HOWEVER, it is working in test.
We are only waiting on POE in EDM.

We are using a Citizen Printer,
and ROLL prescriptions, it prints ONE at a time and CUTS it off.

Indiana has very strict regulations regarding prescription blanks, and the
company we are using
has been very helpful.

Just send me an email, and I would gladly send you the Word document describing
the printer,
paper and what we are doing.

We are interested to hear what brands/models/etc of printers that you
are using to print prescriptions. We have started printing
prescriptions in our ED's and are finding that the paper (that can't be
copied or faxed) is very expensive. We are using HP LaserJets right
now, so we are using a full sheet of expensive paper for each
prescription. (I realize that we can put multiple prescriptions on a
piece of paper, but it is still very costly.)

I have seen some small printers that look like they would be well suited
for this if you are able to obtain paper for them that can't be
"duplicated."

Thanks in advance!
