My HIS Manager asked me to post this. We are live with CS for seven weeks now, 5.5.2.
--- Question as we are new to Client Server..... ITS is linking dictations to our incomplete record deficiencies. My question is this.... If no one adds a deficiency to it and everything is done through the system do you permanently file the record when coding is done and just run the delinquent letters to watch till the reports are electronically signed? The system automatically signs out the portion to INC which is our incomplete records and we want to send them to coding but if we sign the chart out to coding it stops the delinquent count on this visit. The delinquent count only counts when it is signed out to INC. Once coding is done then we wanted to get the chart to permanent file as the system will be taking the deficiency off or marking it as complete when they electronically sign.
