You can use the NL=N attribute to suppress the CR/LF on as many lines as
you need and put your fields in the picture, but that gets old.

Also there is some limit to the number of lines you can use in the
picture.

Better to just use the picture to provide the record separator CR/LF and
do all output in a macro.

You can tack the delimiter on the end of the fields in the macro and
send them to !

Here is quote delimited, text qualifer = ""

D(34)_","_D(34)^DL,

D(34)[EMAIL PROTECTED],

@birthdate_DL^!,

Etc

Last field gets just a D(34) at the end not a DL

You will have to reformat dates as needed, otherwise you get YYYYMMDD

If you don't do some kind of output via the picture, the report gets nil
pages and process spool files becomes a deadly trap and the cursor
sticks in the nil page field.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] report longer than 600 columns

Is there a way to create a downloadable report for which that data would
exceed 600 columns? (My latest request is nearly 1800 columns of mostly
patient demographic/insurance data).

Thanks for your help.
