Hi All, I am trying to make the letters in scheduling look nice. I would like to print the patient name in upper and lower case. I tried fragmenting over to get name using z.convert.to.mixed case. My problem is that if I now print the letter and select, say 5 appointments, it prints the patient 5 times. So meditech suggested code so that it would only print the name once, but now it puts the patient name and then, in this example, 4 spaces below the name before the rest of the letter starts. I may ask for a custom data field, but I know they take a long time even thought it is one line of code entered in the E/E custom data field dictionary.
Does anyone have a letter fragment that they use to accomplish this? I am open to any other ideas. It seems odd to me that they don't offer the common fields in upper and lower case, so the letter looks more professional.
